Tuscany is well served by 3 airports that connect the main national and international destinations (also including intercontinental flights). All three airports are well connected to the main cities and with the regional transportation system (main streets, highways, trains and buses). In each of these airports it is possible to use one of the many Transfert system, offered from/to the city and even from/to another airport or from/to one of the major port in Tuscany.
The 3 Tuscan airports are located in Pisa, Florence and Marina di Campo (Isola d'Elba). The most important is Pisa airport, while that of Marina di Campo, even if opened the whole year, offers scheduled flights mainly from March to September, coinciding with the arrival of tourists on the island.
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT GALILEO GALILEI (PSA) - PISA
Galileo Galilei is the most important Tuscan airport and one of the most well served airports in Italy. Thanks to Pisa's geographical position, its only 70 minutes far away from Florence, 30 minutes from Lucca, 50 minutes from Pistoia, and less then half an hour from Livorno.
Pisa airport is a few minutes walk from the city center and it is well connected and easily reachable by car, bus or train as well. AIRPORT AMERIGO VESPUCCI (FLR) - FLORENCE
The Florence Airport "Amerigo Vespucci" is a small airport located very close to Florence and it is one of two main airports in the Tuscany region. Thanks to Florence's geographical position, its very close to all main regional and national destinations.
Florence airport is a few kilometers far from the city center (5 km) and it is well connected and easily reachable by car, bus or train as well. And if you'd like the complete comfort there's special private transportation to and from Florence airport, to and from Florence City Center and to and from Pisa Airport and Livorno Port.

AIRPORT MARINA DI CAMPO (EBA) - Isola d'Elba
The Airport of Marina di Campo is a very small airport located in the very centre of the island of Elba.
The airport is served by a few small companies and is connected mainly to national cities (like Florence, Milan, Pisa, Rome), although there are some links to international locations in France (Corsica), Germany and Switzerland.
The airport, even if open all year round, mainly provides scheduled planes from April to October (coinciding with the arrival of tourists on the island).
